Dear Norwalk High Senior Parents:
The PGP or Post Graduation Party is an all night celebration for all the students of the 2012 graduating class, sponsored by the 2012 NHS parents. The party follows the graduation ceremony and is intended as a way for the new graduates to celebrate with friends in a safe, secure, alcohol and drug free environment.
The PGP relies on us, the senior parents, and corporate donations to fund this event. The PGP has a large fundraising goal to meet for the 2012 graduating class. To help meet this goal, we are asking for a donation to the Annual PGP Appeal Fund.
YES, it is direct, but it saves time and energy from having to continuously fundraise throughout the year. Although fundraisers are “fun”, most of the money goes to the vendor, with this direct appeal, every dollar of your donation will go directly to your child.
You might not be aware what the PGP provides for your senior that night:
• A safe and secure place for the seniors to spend time with friends from 10pm until 5 am. • Food/Non Alcoholic Drinks: pizza, sandwiches, ice cream, bagels, muffins and snacks - all night. • Games: pool tables, game rentals, volleyball, arcade type games and the latest video games.
• Raffle: (which have included) Dorm ‘Frig, Dorm Bedding, Guess Watches and Small
TV’s are but a few of the things your child can win.
• Dancing: DJ and dancing all night long.
• Movies: the newest shows all night long.
• Gifts: Various gifts for our Seniors
(More information regarding the PGP will be sent home from the PGP committee)
These are but a few of things our seniors will enjoy throughout the night.
Everything for this night is dependent on donations.
WE CAN NOT DO THIS ALONE
This event cannot be possible without your help. Please help make this Annual Appeal a huge success. Please consider an additional contribution on top of the $60 per student suggested cost for this event. (If you haven’t sent your $60.00 in yet, now is the time to do that, too.) For those families who have not been able to participate in fundraisers in the past, now is your golden opportunity to contribute. Participation from every family could avoid all those constant demands for more money. The goal is to provide a safe, fun and memorable evening for all the seniors. THANK YOU!!!
Please return the bottom with your donation to:
